This beautiful velvet hat was part of an interesting collaboration between Gucci and the New York Yankees for Allessandro Michelles Fall/Winter 18 collection. The idea stemmed from the Designers personal affinity for the yankees and their hats. It honors the baseball team with their world-famous NY Logo embroidered on a beautiful bright-red material with a small "Gucci“ decorating the left side of the hat. The Logo itself has been a part of the sports team for over 100 year and has become one of the most recognizable brandings in sports. Its a key piece in streetwear turned luxury garment, and definitely makes this hat one of our favorite pieces of the collection.
